Close the Workhouse March 7, 2019 Public Meeting

Courtwatching Training

Please join Advancement Project's Thomas Harvey, ArchCity Defenders' Sima Atri, and the Bail Project St. Louis' Mike Milton for a  training on Courtwatching and Participatory Defense on  Monday, March 18th starting at 6pm at the Deaconess Center for Child Well-Being at 1000 N. Vandeventer.

Courtwatching is a fantastic way to learn about the criminal legal system and hold prosecutors and judges accountable while supporting people directly impacted by cash bail, pretrial monitoring, and jail conditions. Participatory defense is an organizing model for people who face charges, their families, and their communities to impact the outcome of cases and transform the balance of power in the court system.
